A Show Low man, Cody A. Campbell, 35, was arrested on December 23 on suspicion of theft and fraud following an investigation by the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO). The investigation was initiated after a resident reported that several thousand dollars had been charged to their credit card without permission.

On December 16, NCSO deputies received a call from the victim and began investigating the incident. Their efforts led them to Campbell’s home, where they discovered evidence of fraudulent activity. After obtaining a search warrant, deputies recovered hundreds of stolen items, including forged checks and credit cards that did not belong to Campbell.

Campbell was arrested on suspicion of theft, theft of a credit card, fraudulent use of a credit card, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently being held on a $20,000 cash bond as the investigation continues.
