Seneca Falls, NY — A local man is facing drug-related charges following his arrest by the Seneca Falls Police Department earlier this week.
Police say 42-year-old Shawn Standbrook was taken into custody on July 2 and charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, both class A misdemeanors under New York law.
Standbrook was released at the scene and issued appearance tickets, requiring him to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
Authorities emphasized that charges are merely accusations, and Standbrook is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
