ATLANTA, Ga. — A woman accused of stealing multiple high-end vehicles across Atlanta has been arrested, police said.
Sharell Reed, 28, faces eight counts of theft by taking auto, one count of theft by taking, and one count of concealing the identity of a vehicle.
The investigation began on February 26 after a car was reported stolen from a parking garage at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Detectives later identified Reed as a suspect and linked her to several vehicle thefts at the airport and other locations throughout the city.
On March 10, officers conducted a traffic stop and took Reed into custody, an arrest captured on police body camera footage. She was subsequently booked into the Fulton County Jail.
Authorities say Reed is connected to at least eight separate auto theft cases. The investigation remains ongoing.
