SHELDON, Iowa — Two residents of Sheldon were arrested around 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, following a drug-related investigation and search warrant executed at their home, according to the Sheldon Police Department.
Authorities served the warrant at a residence located at 218 N. Fifth Ave., where they discovered a box with methamphetamine residue, meth pipes, a bag containing marijuana residue, and a marijuana joint, according to the incident report.
As a result, the following individuals were taken into custody:
Shane Anthony Svalland, 54, was charged with:
Second-offense possession of methamphetamine
Second-offense possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Amy Colleen Renaud, 41, was charged with:
First-offense possession of methamphetamine
First-offense possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Both suspects were processed and taken into custody without reported incident.
