The Shahkot police have arrested three individuals, including two nambardars and a deed writer, in connection with a fraud and criminal conspiracy case. The accused have been identified as Hans Raj, a nambardar from Mohalla Bagh Wala, Paramjit, a nambardar from Haji Pur village, and Raj Kumar, a deed writer from Mohalla Bawian, all residents of Shahkot.

The case was brought to light by Narindar Singh Jheeta, a UK-based NRI and resident of Shahkot, who complained to the Jalandhar (Rural) SSP. Jheeta alleged that the accused, along with their accomplices, forged an agreement to fraudulently seize 12.3 marlas of land that originally belonged to his late father, Ajit Singh, in Mohalla Bawian and Lal Lakir.

Authorities have filed charges against the individuals involved, and investigations are ongoing as they pursue further accomplices in the conspiracy.
