Seven Arrested in Hartford Human Trafficking Case

Three juvenile victims rescued; suspects face sex charges

Seven Men Arrested in Hartford Human Trafficking Investigation

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) — Hartford Police have arrested seven individuals in connection with a human trafficking case involving three female juvenile victims. The investigation began in May 2025, following reports of trafficking activity in the area.

Police say the victims were safely recovered and reunited with their families after a multi-agency investigation. All seven suspects face serious charges, including trafficking, sexual assault, and child exploitation.

Suspects and Charges:

Ahmad Compton, 36, of Hartford —
3 counts each: trafficking in persons, first-degree sexual assault, first-degree kidnapping, risk of injury to a minor, and illegal sexual contact with a minor.

James Williams, 35, of Hartford —
3 counts each: trafficking in persons, first-degree sexual assault, first-degree kidnapping, risk of injury to a minor, illegal sexual contact with a minor;
1 count: criminal attempt at first-degree sexual assault.

Bernard Micken, 38, of Hartford —
Charged with commercial sexual abuse of a minor, first-degree sexual assault, 3 counts of kidnapping, unlawful restraint, illegal sexual contact with a minor, and 3 counts of risk of injury to a minor.

Raheem Jones, 51, no known address —
3 counts each: trafficking in persons, first-degree kidnapping, risk of injury to a minor;
1 count: hindering prosecution.

Donovan Dun, of Hartford —
Arrested in Port Charlotte, Florida, and awaiting extradition to Connecticut. Charges include trafficking in persons, first-degree sexual assault, two counts each of third-degree sexual assault, employing a minor in obscene performance, promoting a minor in obscene performance, and possession of child sexual abuse materials; also charged with enticing a minor, second-degree strangulation, unlawful restraint, three counts of risk of injury to a minor, and illegal sexual contact.

Tyrod Jackson, 19, of Hartford —
3 counts each: first-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor, and illegal sexual contact.

Tahjay Wilson, 21, of Hartford —
3 counts each: first-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor, and illegal sexual contact.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests could follow. Victim support services have been engaged to assist those affected.
