Billa, Haryana: Police have arrested seven suspects in connection with a violent assault on a dhaba owner and his family in village Billa. The latest arrests include Gurvinder Singh (alias Golu) and Gurpreet Singh (alias Guriya), bringing the total to seven. Both were produced in court and remanded to judicial custody.
The attack involved a group of youths wielding swords, sticks, and sharp weapons. Earlier arrests included Krishan, Gaurav, Virender Singh, Navneet Kumar, and Vijay (alias Shakti). Weapons used in the crime have been recovered by the police.
A case was registered at Chandimandir Police Station under serious charges, including attempt to murder. All accused are being prosecuted under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act.
