LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the county’s first homicide of the year following a fatal domestic incident in White Hall.
Officials reported that deputies responded around 10:00 PM Friday to a home on Sassafras Trail after receiving a call about a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend.
Upon arrival, deputies say 56-year-old Scottie Glover exited the residence and admitted to shooting his girlfriend of nearly 15 years, 56-year-old Donna Holder. Glover was immediately taken into custody.
Deputies located Holder deceased inside the home. Her body is being transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory, where a full autopsy will determine the official cause and manner of death.
Authorities confirmed the investigation is ongoing and stated that additional information will be released when appropriate.
