Scott Rollins Arrested for Meth Possession in Grangeville Traffic Stop

K9 Millie aids Idaho County deputies in drug discovery

On January 25, at approximately 1:38 PM, a routine traffic stop on the Truck Route near Grangeville, Idaho, led to the arrest of 42-year-old Scott Rollins. The Idaho County deputy initiated the stop due to a traffic violation.

During the stop, K9 Millie and her handler conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle. The K9 signaled the presence of narcotics, prompting a search of the vehicle. Authorities discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

Rollins was arrested and faces multiple charges, including felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor criminal contempt of a lawful order, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He was also cited for operating a motor vehicle without the proper registration, plates, or stickers.

The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. The charges reflect the circumstances at the time of the arrest.
