BETHEL, Maine (WGME) – Three Mainers and a 17-year-old from Massachusetts were arrested after a raid in Bethel led to the discovery of cocaine and stolen merchandise, according to the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities began investigating a shoplifting incident reported on Monday. The stolen goods investigation led them to a home on High Street in Bethel, where they executed a search warrant at around 10 p.m. Deputies found 61.21 grams of cocaine, $875 in cash, and other evidence of drug trafficking, in addition to stolen merchandise.
As a result of the search, deputies arrested and charged:
Scott L. Coffin, 55, of Woodstock, for unlawful furnishing of Schedule Z drugs.
Jacquelyn L. Dunn, 36, of Bethel, for theft and violation of conditions of release.
Michael D. Greene, 25, of Bethel, for felony theft, resisting arrest, and violation of conditions of release.
A 17-year-old male from Taunton, Massachusetts, for unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs and unlawful possession of Schedule Z drugs.
The adults were taken to the Oxford County Jail, while the teen was transported to the Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland. The investigation is ongoing.
