Albany, NY — Albany County District Attorney Lee Kindlon announced that 35-year-old Ynnad White of Schenectady has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a child.
White admitted to committing a Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree against a victim under the age of 11.
According to an investigation by detectives from the Albany Police Department’s Children and Family Services Unit, White, while working as a bus monitor in Albany, initiated sexual contact with a 7-year-old boy riding the bus between March 1, 2021, and June 17, 2021.
White is scheduled to be sentenced on July 16, where he faces 11 years in state prison, followed by 20 years of post-release supervision. Additionally, White will be required to register as a sex offender upon his release.
