In a narcotics raid at Vasco railway station, the Railway Police arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly possessing illegal drugs.
The accused, identified as Satyam Singh from Hajipur, Bihar, was caught at Platform 1 with 650 grams of ganja, estimated to be worth around Rs65,000.
Police conducted the raid based on a tip-off and seized the contraband during a routine check. Satyam Singh was taken into custody, and a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the source and intended destination of the seized ganja.
