CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – Sarah E. Sears, 36, of Clifton Park, was arrested on Thursday following an investigation into a one-car crash that occurred on State Route 146.
According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, authorities responded to the crash at 2:01 a.m. on the morning of the incident. Upon investigation, Sears was accused of operating a motor vehicle with impaired ability due to a combination of alcohol and drug influence.
In addition to the driving under the influence (DUI) charges, Sears is also facing multiple other charges. These include possessing crack cocaine, consuming alcohol inside a vehicle while on a public highway, and failing to operate her vehicle within a single lane. She is also charged with driving without a valid certificate of inspection.
Sears was taken into custody and is expected to face legal proceedings on the multiple charges.
