PORTERVILLE, Calif. (FOX26) — A woman was arrested Thursday after a months-long investigation into identity theft.

Porterville Police responded to a report that a victim’s personal information was stolen in January and used to open unauthorized credit and bank accounts.

Detectives identified 29-year-old Sara Andrada as the suspect and located her at a home on South Page Street after she was not found at her last known address.

Police arrested Andrada during a traffic stop, also discovering she was driving with a suspended license.

She faces charges for identity theft and driving on a suspended license and is being held on $50,000 bail. Her vehicle was impounded.
