Anjuna Police have arrested Manchineni Santosh Kumar, a 26-year-old businessman from Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, for allegedly committing theft in a rented flat in Anjuna, Goa.
According to police, Santosh Kumar entered the flat through a sliding window and stole:
An iPhone
A Samsung smartphone
A pair of Apple AirPods
₹1,000 in cash
The complaint was filed by Raushan Ranjan, a native of Bihar, who was residing in the flat. He reported the incident after discovering his belongings were missing.
Following an investigation, police traced Santosh Kumar and arrested him. They also recovered one of the stolen phones from his possession. Further investigation is underway to trace the remaining stolen items and determine if the accused is linked to any other similar incidents.
