MEDINA COUNTY, Ohio — Four men have been charged in connection with a November 2025 burglary at the home of Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
A news conference was held Thursday morning at the Medina County Sheriff’s Department. Three of the suspects—Jarvet Myrick, Deandrez Jackson, and Maurice Taylor—were arrested in Georgia and are in custody. A fourth suspect, Carlos Deanthony Morris, remains wanted.
Authorities said the suspects were in a stolen Enterprise rental car and specifically target high-profile individuals. “They take advantage of people being away from home, often targeting those of stature in the community,” said Detective Rodney Rees. Officials believe a higher-up directs them to potential victims.
Surveillance footage from Nov. 16, 2025, showed the suspects entering Sanders’ home through an unlocked glass door at 6:46 p.m., ransacking bedrooms, an office, and the living room. They stole approximately $200,000 in property, including luxury bags, totes, and a ring, leaving at 6:58 p.m. The items have not yet been recovered.
The burglary coincided with Sanders’ NFL debut against the Ravens, where he threw for 47 yards and one touchdown. Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Secret Service and ATF, assisted in the investigation.
