Samuel Lopez Held on $2M Bond in Nash County Murder Case

Lopez charged with first-degree murder after dispute

Man Held on $2 Million Bond in Nash County Murder Investigation

NASH COUNTY, N.C. — A Nash County man is being held on a $2 million bond following his arrest in connection with a murder that occurred early Monday morning.

Deputies were called around 2 a.m. to Nick At Nite Lane, southeast of Spring Hope, responding to a domestic dispute.

At the scene, deputies found 25-year-old Estrella Silva deceased. Shortly thereafter, 30-year-old Samuel Lopez, who resides on Nick At Nite Lane, was charged with first-degree murder.

Authorities have stated that further information about the case will be released as the investigation continues.
