WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Authorities have arrested a man in connection with the homicide of Rhonda Larochelle Oglesby, 51, in Winston-Salem, according to a police department news release.
On September 14 at approximately 1:19 p.m., Winston-Salem officers discovered Rhonda Oglesby deceased inside a vehicle in the 1600 block of E. 24th Street. Investigators determined she had suffered physical harm and was likely assaulted at her home on Motor Road before being transported to the location where she was found.
Samuel David Oglesby, 55, Rhonda’s estranged husband, was taken into custody on Thursday. He faces charges of murder and concealment of an unnatural death.
Oglesby is currently held without bond at the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center.
The investigation remains ongoing.
