A Craven County woman, Samone Thomas, 38, was arrested on February 7 following an identity theft investigation.
According to the Craven County Sheriff’s Office, Thomas allegedly used another person’s debit card to make two grocery purchases totaling over $160.
Court documents list Thomas as homeless. She faces multiple felony charges, including identity theft, financial card theft, and obtaining property by false pretenses.
Thomas is currently being held at the Craven County Detention Center on a $30,000 bond.
