In a continuing effort to clamp down on drug trafficking, the Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB), Rohtak unit, has arrested a drug smuggler and seized 14.46 grams of heroin from his possession.
Inspector Rakesh, in-charge of the Rohtak unit, confirmed that the operation was led by Sub-Inspector Jaiveer. The accused was intercepted and taken into custody after a targeted surveillance operation.
The arrested individual has been identified as:
Salender, also known as Surender,
a resident of Garhi Mohalla, Rohtak.
A case has been registered against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Officials stated that further investigation is underway to uncover any broader drug supply network or accomplices linked to the accused.
