The Salem District Police have arrested a woman, Rani, and her son, Aravind, in connection with the murder of M. Rajendran (65), a nutritionist, on Thursday. Rajendran was found murdered in his home at Sankagiri on March 31.
Following the discovery of his body, the Sankagiri police registered a case and arrested seven members of a group who allegedly murdered Rajendran on the instructions of his wife Rani and son Aravind. After further investigation, police arrested Rani and Aravind on Thursday.
