Sakaram Chaudhary Arrested for Wife Murder Conspiracy

Husband Allegedly Paid RS6.7 Lakh to Kill Wife

A chilling case has emerged from Sakinaka, Mumbai, where a man allegedly conspired to murder his wife to continue a relationship with his girlfriend. The accused reportedly paid rS6.7 lakh to have his wife killed and attempted to make the death appear as a suicide.

The case, initially treated as an accidental death, drew renewed attention due to the persistent suspicions of the victim’s father. Sakinaka Police have arrested four individuals in connection with the case, including the husband Sakaram Chaudhary (36), and accomplices Shankar Dangi (36), Babu alias Raghav alias Amarchand Gayri (22), and Dinesh Gayri (20).

The incident occurred on October 14, 2024, when the body of 34-year-old Narangi alias Geeta Chaudhary was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan in the kitchen of her Sangharsh Nagar residence. Initially, the police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and suspected suicide. A post-mortem examination was conducted, but the exact cause of death could not be conclusively determined by the medical team.

Further investigation and interrogations have led to the arrests, and police are probing the financial and logistical arrangements behind the alleged murder plot.
