Kovur, SPSR Nellore District: Police arrested three members of a motorcycle theft gang in Kovur town on Wednesday, September 24, recovering 10 stolen bikes valued at nearly Rs9 lakh, including high-end models.
Kovur Circle Inspector (CI) Sudhakar Reddy stated that the arrested were identified as Sagar, Suhan Babu, and Adarsh Govind.
The gang’s activities came to light during the interrogation of Sagar, who was caught performing stunts on NH-16 on September 20. Further investigation led police to uncover and recover the remaining stolen motorcycles.
Authorities have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing to determine if the gang was involved in additional thefts across the district.
