PRAIRIEVILLE — Two individuals were arrested after Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit detectives uncovered multiple drugs during a search of a local smoke shop.

Saed Youseff, 22, from Baton Rouge, and Phoebe McMullen, 25, of Prairieville, face several charges for possession with intent to distribute Schedule I controlled substances.

Detectives from APSO, the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control, and Gonzales City Police executed a search warrant at Mojo Smoke Shop, where they found a large quantity of liquid THC, marijuana, kratom, and tianeptine—often referred to as ‘gas station heroin.’

Both Youseff and McMullen were arrested and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail.
