OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Two women have been arrested in connection with an alleged human trafficking scheme involving a 13-year-old girl, according to the Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD).
Police say Sabrina Cirlos was planning to set up her 13-year-old relative for prostitution. The investigation uncovered disturbing details about the alleged attempt to exploit the child.
Another relative, Cynthia Cirlos, initially told police she was unaware of the situation. However, investigators believe she knew more than she claimed and have taken her into custody as well.
Both women were booked into the Oklahoma County Jail and are being held on a $50,000 bond each.
The case remains under investigation, and additional charges may follow. Police are urging anyone with information related to this case or potential victims of trafficking to come forward.
