S. Ramamoorthy and Others Arrested in Sathyamangalam Jewellery Theft

45.5 Sovereigns Jewellery Recovered Alongside Rs2,500 Cash

Sathyamangalam, Tamil Nadu – Police have arrested three accused involved in the theft of 45.5 sovereigns of jewellery and Rs16,000 cash from the residence of Sathish Kumar of Nerunagar, Sathyamangalam.

Acting on CCTV footage, authorities tracked down and apprehended:

S. Ramamoorthy (Tiruchendur)

K. Manikandan (Tiruchendur)

S. Karthi (Sathyamangalam)

Police recovered all stolen jewellery, Rs2,500 in cash, and a mini truck believed to have been used during the crime. Additionally, three stolen bicycles were found from a house in Raju Nagar.

The accused have been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody. The investigation is ongoing to determine if they are involved in other thefts.
