Ryan Putera Arrested After Break-In at Holdrege Business

Suspect found sleeping inside downtown Holdrege business

HOLDREGE, Neb. (KSNB) – A 31-year-old man, Ryan Putera, is in custody after a suspected burglary incident early Monday morning in downtown Holdrege.

Police responded just before 7 a.m. to a business near Fourth Avenue and East Avenue after a report of a possible break-in. Upon arrival, officers discovered Putera asleep inside the premises.

He was immediately arrested and faces multiple charges including burglary, theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespass, and criminal mischief.

Putera is currently being held at the Phelps County Justice Center as the investigation continues.
