Rufus Wright Jr. Indicted on 28 Drug Charges in Ohio

Fentanyl, meth, heroin, and cocaine linked to trafficking

MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio — Rufus Wright Jr., a resident of Pomeroy, Ohio, was indicted on 28 felony drug charges on Wednesday, the Meigs County Prosecutor’s Office reported.

Investigators allege Wright trafficked a total of 332 grams of fentanyl, 219 grams of methamphetamine, 56 grams of heroin, and 48 grams of cocaine.

He has also been ordered to forfeit multiple firearms, vehicles, and $114,274 in cash.

The charges include 13 counts of drug trafficking, 13 counts of drug possession, and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
