Wichita, Kan. (KWCH) – Rose Hill Mayor Gary Weaver appeared in Butler County court on Monday to face criminal charges, including one count of stalking, a level 9-person felony.

Weaver is accused of violating a protection order, which prevents him from having any contact with the individual who filed the order. The charge stems from an alleged incident where he broke the terms of this order.

Weaver’s bond has been set at $3,000, and he is scheduled to return to court on June 30 to face further proceedings.
