MAXTON, N.C. — A Maxton man is facing numerous serious charges after Robeson County Sheriff’s investigators, alongside SWAT operators, executed a search warrant Friday at a residence in the 100 block of Carl Street.
Authorities arrested Rory C. Wallen, 39, after locating cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, several firearms, U.S. currency, and various drug paraphernalia inside the home. The search was part of an investigation into a recent assault incident.
Wallen has been charged with a wide array of felonies, including:
Second-degree kidnapping
Felony conspiracy
Assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury
Trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine
Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana
Maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance
Possession of drug and marijuana paraphernalia
He was taken into custody at the Robeson County Detention Center and is being held without bond.
The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is assisting with the investigation, which remains ongoing.
