Waterloo, ON – Three men, including Rommel Hinds-Grannum and Robert Hinds-Grannum, are facing multiple charges following a human trafficking investigation conducted by the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS).
Investigation and Arrests
Authorities began their investigation in April 2024 after receiving reports of human trafficking involving local women. After months of inquiries, police arrested two 36-year-old men on February 20, 2025. A 50-year-old man was also taken into custody on the same charges.
The suspects have been charged with:
Human trafficking
Exercising control, direction, or influence over another person
Advertising sexual services
Money laundering
Uttering death threats
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
Suspects Identified
The two 36-year-olds were identified as Rommel Hinds-Grannum, also known as “Nov,” and Robert Hinds-Grannum, known as “Chase.”
Ongoing Investigation
Authorities believe there may be additional victims and urge anyone with information to contact the Waterloo Regional Police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
