KANE, PA – Robert W. Dyne, 57, has been charged following an investigation into drug trafficking at his home, where convicted dealer Catherine Morrison was operating.
Drug Investigation & Arrest
McKean County District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer announced Dyne’s charges after the McKean County Drug Task Force raided his residence at 330 Cherry St. on Oct. 24, 2023. The search was conducted when police arrested Morrison for selling fentanyl, xylazine, and methamphetamine.
Authorities had received reports that Morrison was trafficking large amounts of drugs in Kane, leading to an investigation and her eventual conviction.
Charges Against Dyne
During the raid, police found methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in the home. Dyne denied knowledge of Morrison’s drug sales but admitted he was aware of the presence of illegal substances.
Dyne has been charged with:
Two counts of possession of a controlled substance (misdemeanors)
One count of possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor)
The charges were filed by Chief County Detective Ryan Yingling.
Court Proceedings
Dyne was arraigned before District Judge David Engman and released on $5,000 unsecured bail. The case remains under investigation.
