CEDARBURG, Wis. – Community members in Cedarburg are expressing outrage after 22-year-old Riley Alexander Morrow was formally charged with sexually assaulting a minor at Cedar Creek Park.
According to the Ozaukee County District Attorney’s Office, Morrow faces two counts of Child Enticement and one count of First Degree Sexual Assault of a child under 13 for an incident that occurred on July 15.
Court records state that Morrow allegedly lured two young boys under a bridge in the park. During the encounter, he is accused of slapping one boy on the buttocks and instructing the same child to slap him in return.
Following an investigation, Morrow admitted to the behavior during a police interview and was subsequently booked into Ozaukee County Jail. He has since posted a $250,000 bond, authorities said.
The Cedarburg Police Department has taken the unusual step of releasing Morrow’s photo, citing concern that there may be additional victims.
Parents and residents have called the incident “deeply troubling” and are urging anyone with information to contact local authorities.
