A Lowndes County man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Mosses, Alabama, authorities said.
Richmond Davis was charged with murder following the incident. Deputies with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 200 block of Reeves Drive around 11:20 p.m. Sunday after receiving reports of a shooting.
Officials said deputies found Larry McCall lying in the street with a gunshot wound near his stomach. Paramedics transported McCall to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Investigators determined that Davis was responsible for the shooting.
Davis is currently being held in the Lowndes County Jail, and the investigation remains ongoing.
