Warminster Township, PA – A longtime Catholic school teacher and youth sports coach has been arrested following a federal and local investigation into the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Richard Allen Adamsky, 65, of Warminster, was taken into custody on Wednesday morning after authorities executed a search warrant at his residence. He now faces felony charges of possessing child sexual abuse material and criminal use of a communication facility.
Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn announced the arrest, stating that Adamsky’s role in the community made the charges especially serious.
Adamsky was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Christopher E. O’Neill, who set bail at $500,000 (10% permitted). He was subsequently remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 4 at 2:45 p.m.
The arrest was the result of a coordinated investigation by the FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force, with support from the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, and detectives from both the Bensalem Township and Warminster Township Police Departments.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the full scope of the material recovered or whether any local victims have been identified. The investigation remains ongoing.
