A Mexico, Missouri, woman has been sentenced to prison following a 2024 drug trafficking investigation.
The Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office announced that Rheanna L. Lee, 26, was sentenced to 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for First-Degree Drug Trafficking.
The conviction stems from a 2024 search warrant that uncovered fentanyl tied to Lee’s drug operation. According to prosecutors, deputies with the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office and agents from the East Central Drug Task Force executed multiple search warrants at Lee’s home on September 13, 2024.
Investigators found fentanyl stored in Lee’s mailbox, where she allegedly left bags labeled with buyers’ names for distribution.
“Our law enforcement partners are doing drug interdiction every day in our community, and stopping the flow of illegal drugs requires a lot of effort and focus,” said Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney Jacob Shellabarger.
Court records show that Lee has two other active cases currently pending in Audrain County courts.
