A man wanted in multiple theft cases and accused of fleeing police earlier this summer is back in custody.
Raymond Sablan Laguana II, 31, was arrested early Monday after a woman in Yona called police to remove him from her home, where officers found him asleep on a couch.
Laguana faces charges including drug possession, misdemeanor theft, and two counts of petty misdemeanor theft.
Investigators linked him to several incidents in May, such as gas station drive-offs at Mobil stations in Hagåtña and Yona, as well as the theft of a water blaster and ring camera in Agana Heights.
In June, police spotted Laguana, but he fled into the jungle and escaped, abandoning a vehicle containing a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue.
After months of searching, authorities say Laguana will now face charges in superior court.
