by Amelia Crawford

Raymond Hartoin, 37, has been arrested in connection with a large-scale drug operation following a significant bust at his Driftwood residence on April 8, 2025.

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) launched a narcotics investigation earlier this month through its Repeat Offender Program. With assistance from the HCSO Drone Unit, Interdiction Unit, and patrol deputies, authorities executed a search warrant at Hartoin’s home on Brownson Lane.

During the search, deputies seized a substantial quantity of drugs, including marijuana, THC, MDMA, ketamine, cocaine, and methamphetamine. In addition, several firearms were found, including two that had been reported stolen. Authorities also recovered U.S. currency suspected to be linked to the drug trade.

Hartoin was booked into the Hays County Jail on ten counts of manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, two counts of theft of a firearm, and one unrelated warrant.
