Rana Chehada, Manal Khalaf Charged in Windsor Home Invasion

Three more suspects wanted after violent January break-in

Windsor, ON — Windsor Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a violent home invasion that took place on January 13, 2025, in the 2500 block of Luxury Avenue.

According to investigators, five suspects forcibly entered the residence shortly after 11 p.m., where they assaulted and bound two elderly victims. The suspects then stole personal belongings and a Hyundai Tucson from the property. The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

On February 14, police arrested 25-year-old Manal Khalaf, charging her with nine offences, including:

Break-and-enter to commit robbery

Robbery with an offensive weapon

Assault causing bodily harm

Most recently, on April 29, officers arrested 42-year-old Rana Chehada in the 2200 block of Highland Avenue. She faces two counts of robbery with violence.

Arrest warrants have now been issued for the remaining suspects:

Husien Khalaf, 27

Alaa Khalaf, 19

A 17-year-old male, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act

All three are wanted for multiple charges, including:

Break-and-enter to commit robbery

Robbery with an offensive weapon

Assault causing bodily harm

Forcible confinement

Uttering death threats

Theft of a motor vehicle

Descriptions of the wanted individuals have been released:

Husien Khalaf: Middle Eastern male, 5’3”, 150 lbs, small build, full beard, black hair, brown eyes

Alaa Khalaf: Middle Eastern male, 5’4”, 119 lbs, small build, short black goatee, black hair, brown eyes
