Continuing their crackdown on illegal online betting during the IPL 2025 season, Raipur Police carried out a major raid in Dwarka, Delhi, targeting the notorious KABooK Panels No. 108 and 10. The operation led to the arrest of six bookies, including the panel operator Rakesh Madnani alias Daki.
The arrested individuals hail from Raipur, Bilaspur, Dhamtari, and Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh). Raipur Police seized a cache of evidence used to operate the betting racket, including:
17 mobile phones
3 laptops
27 ATM and debit cards
22 bank passbooks
7 chequebooks
1 camera
The total estimated value of the seized items is Rs6,00,000.
A case has been registered under Crime No. 84/25 at Khamardih Police Station, invoking sections of the CG Gambling Prohibition Act 2022 and the Indian Telegraph Act.
This raid brings the total arrests in IPL 2025-related online betting cases to 63, across 21 separate cases, with total seizures now nearing Rs1 crore in value.
The investigation that led to this raid began after two suspects were arrested in Raipur on April 12 for operating betting apps Kingdom App and I4U777. Their interrogation and technical evidence helped Raipur Police track the KABooK Panel operators to Delhi.
