Rajanagaram Police arrested three individuals involved in a house burglary, recovering 176 grams of gold ornaments and Rs1.15 lakh in cash. The case was registered under Cr No 259/2025, U/s 331 (3), 305 (a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Rajanagaram Police Station following a complaint by Relangi Lova Raju of Namavaram village.
North Zone DSP Y Srikanth revealed at a press conference that on the morning of July 2, the complainant and his family had gone to visit Talupulamma Talli Temple near Tuni. During their absence, burglars broke the house locks, damaged the almirah, and stole gold jewellery weighing about 176 grams and Rs1.75 lakh in cash.
Acting on credible leads, Rajanagaram Inspector S Prasanna Veeraiah Goud and his team arrested the suspects on July 9. The accused were identified as Nalaba Satyanarayana alias Sattibabu from Satellite City, Rajamahendravaram Rural; Bedampudi Ratna Raju alias Nani, and Isakoti Pavan Kumar, both from Rajavolu.
Recovered gold items included necklaces, chains, rings with religious symbols, earrings, along with Rs1.15 lakh in cash. East Godavari SP Dr. D Narasinha Kishore praised the efforts of Inspector S Prasanna Veeraiah Goud, CCS Inspectors Sridhar Kumar and Balasouri, SI KV Nagarjuna, and the police team for their swift action in cracking the case.
