Delhi Police have arrested Raj Chauhan (21) and Santosh Kumar (35), both originally from Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly cheating people out of large sums through a fake mobile investment app named PINN.

The arrests came after a complaint was lodged by Manoj Kumar Kaser, a resident of Shastri Park, Delhi, who lost Rs21 lakh to the scam. According to police officials, the victim was lured by an online advertisement promising lucrative returns via the PINN app.

Authorities said the accused operated the fraudulent app to deceive investors into depositing money with the promise of high profits, which never materialized. Following a thorough investigation, the suspects were apprehended in Mumbai.

Police are continuing the probe to uncover the full extent of the scam and identify any other victims.
