SULLIGENT, Ala. —
Rahmean Williams, a 24-year-old man from Amory, Mississippi, was arrested on Monday, May 5, in connection with the robbery of First National Bank in Sulligent, Alabama.
Williams is facing charges of robbery, theft, and burglary after the robbery occurred on Friday, May 2, at the bank located on Highway 17. Police say Williams entered the bank and passed a note to a teller, demanding $10,000.
According to authorities, the note indicated Williams’s intention to rob the bank and instructed the teller to place the money into a bag. After the teller complied, Williams left the bank with the cash.
Amory, Williams’s hometown, is about 21 miles northwest of Sulligent.
