In a major breakthrough, Madhya Pradesh Police have arrested four accused, including the alleged mastermind, in connection with the August 11 Jabalpur bank heist. The robbery took place at the ESAF Finance Bank branch in Khitola, around 50 km from the Jabalpur district headquarters.
Eyewitness statements and CCTV footage confirmed that five armed miscreants executed the robbery. Investigations revealed that the gang had rented a house in Indrana village, near Khitola, where they planned the crime in advance.
The robbers looted 14.875 kg of gold and Rs5.08 lakh in cash from the bank. According to the police spokesperson, four accused have been arrested so far, while one is still on the run.
