A Dallas rabbi has been arrested on charges of indecency with a child, according to a statement from Akiba Yavneh Academy.
Rabbi Yizhak Meir Sabo, 43, was taken into custody by Dallas police on April 1 and charged with indecency with a child with contact. Jail records confirm that Sabo was booked into the Dallas County Jail with a $100,000 bond.
The school stated that it became aware of the allegations on March 27 and immediately placed Sabo on suspension.
Authorities have not released further details about the case, and the investigation remains ongoing.
