SCOTT COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – Authorities in Scott County have arrested one person and are actively searching for another following a major drug operation.
Quintette Epting was taken into custody on Monday and now faces multiple charges, including trafficking of oxycodone, Ecstasy, and mushrooms, as well as possession of cocaine and methamphetamine.
The arrest was made during a coordinated effort by the Scott County Narcotics Task Force and the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office, who were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on Joe Lewis Alexander in the Branch Community.
Alexander, who is currently wanted by both Scott and Rankin County authorities, faces multiple charges related to drug trafficking and possession. As of now, he remains on the run.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information on Alexander’s whereabouts is urged to contact local law enforcement.
