Fort Lauderdale police have arrested Cleveland Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins on suspicion of domestic battery. Officers responded to a call on Saturday at a commercial area near Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport concerning a “delayed battery.”
Following a preliminary investigation, police confirmed that a battery had occurred and identified Judkins as the suspect. He was charged with misdemeanor battery and taken into custody. Court records classify the case under domestic violence.
As of Sunday morning, Judkins remained in jail. Neither Judkins nor his representatives have commented on the incident. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns have acknowledged the situation and are actively seeking more information.
Judkins was selected 36th overall by the Browns in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft. He played college football at the University of Mississippi and Ohio State University, where he was part of the 2024 national championship team.
He is among approximately 30 NFL rookies still negotiating contract terms, particularly around guarantees, according to NBC Sports.
