Nicholas Strieker, 27, and Bruce Pinnick, 49, both from Quincy, Illinois, are among six individuals charged in connection with a drug-trafficking conspiracy in western Illinois. The U.S. Department of Justice announced the charges on Friday, revealing that Strieker and Pinnick are accused of conspiring to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine in the Quincy area. They are also charged with illegally using a communication facility in the operation.
If convicted, the two men face severe penalties, including 10 years to life in prison, fines of up to $10 million, and a minimum of five years of supervised release.
A federal grand jury returned indictments against Strieker, Pinnick, and four other individuals on February 4, 2025. The additional defendants include Lasha B. Lewis (40, St. Louis), Aamina R. Dorsey (36, St. Louis), Michael A. Bloodson (42, Chicago), and Marcus T. Bush (41, Alton, Illinois).
Following their detention hearings, a judge ordered that Strieker and Pinnick remain in the custody of the U.S. Marshal Service.
The investigation was a collaborative effort involving the FBI, Quincy Police Department, and Adams County Sheriff’s Office, among other law enforcement agencies.
