LAS VEGAS — Quenton M. Brown, the 57-year-old father of Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, has been arrested in Las Vegas and charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a man on Wednesday evening.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to a call around 5:42 p.m. PT near the 1500 block of South Buffalo Drive, where they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was rushed to the hospital and is listed in critical condition, according to police.
Authorities say the suspect was apprehended shortly after the incident, not far from the scene. Brown was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of attempted murder.
As of now, no motive has been disclosed, and further details about the victim or the nature of the altercation have not been released. The case remains under investigation.
