Pueblo Man Arrested with Fentanyl, Meth, Cocaine, and Heroin in Vehicle

Ross Lopez faces multiple drug charges and a protection order violation in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. – A Pueblo man is facing multiple charges after deputies found drugs and paraphernalia in his vehicle early Saturday, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).

Deputies responded just after midnight to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of Palo Alto Street, south of US 50. Upon arrival, they found 41-year-old Ross Lopez asleep in the car with an open can of beer and visible drug paraphernalia.

Lopez was subject to a protection order prohibiting alcohol, marijuana, and narcotics. A search of the vehicle revealed:

55.7 grams of fentanyl

25.7 grams of methamphetamine

10.7 grams of cocaine

1.5 grams of heroin

15.44 grams of an untested substance believed to be meth

Lopez was arrested and booked into the Pueblo County Jail on charges including:

Two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute

Imitation controlled substance possession

Unlawful possession of a controlled substance

Protection order violation

He is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
